Blizzard Beach
1534 Blizzard Beach Drive, Orlando, FL 32836
Getting wet has never been more exciting than Blizzard Beach. This incredible waterpark is a really wacky concept in the fact that it was once a ski resort. This seems like a crazy thing to build in Florida, but the fact is that someone actually built it and instead of people being able to ski, the snow melted and it became a water wonderland. However, some of the elements of the ski resort still remain that’s why you get the perfect combination of what used to be a ski resort and some of the best times you’ll have in Orlando. For example, you’ll notice that you are surrounded by snowcapped mountains as you take a water slide and end up in a wonderfully warm, white sand beach. There are plenty of beaches for relaxing and they offer incredible views of what used to be a ski resort. The waters are incredibly warm because all of the snow and ice that you see is just an illusion. Mount Gushmore can lay claim to some of the world’s tallest and fastest water slides that you have ever encountered, and there are lots of other rides for those that do not seek those kind of thrills. This is simply a treat for the whole family.
